General

Christina Larson (she/her) has spent her career behind the scenes in live event production. With a career focusing on live children's entertainment, she has a special love for bringing the arts to kids.

While working as a Stage Manager at Cal Shakes, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and American Conservatory Theatre she found joy in coordinating teams, and managing a variety of personalities to make something great.

She found her passion for bringing arts to young minds as the Producer and subsequent Managing Director and Interim Executive Director at Bay Area Children’s Theatre.

Christina continues to do work that inspires joy and connection through art and live events.

Theater

Specializing in new works, Christina has produced over 13 original musicals with Bay Area Children’s Theatre, including A Kids Play About Racism, Beautiful Oops!, El Gato Ensombrerado, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Christmas Show, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, Lama Lama Live!, Press Here, and She Persisted. She has stage managed over 12 original productions around the Bay Area, including The Unfortunates and God in Three Persons (American Conservatory Theater), Alleluia, The Road (California Shakespeare Theatre), Sister Play and The Golden State (Magic Theatre). From graduating at University of Washington, and her start in the internship program at Cal Shakes, she received the Eric Landisman Fellowship and has worked extensively in theater throughout the Bay Area.

Producing
